Responsibilities

α) The Department of Social Protection, the Department of Employment, the Department of Preschool Education and Creative Activities, and the Department of Elderly Care of the Social Policy Department, as detailed in Article 11 of the Organizational Structure of the Municipality (OEY), as amended and in force, as well as in the provisions of the Laws, Decrees and Ministerial Decisions in force from time to time

b) The Department of Commerce and Services of the Local Development Department as detailed in article 13 par. 2 (only as far as farmers’ markets are concerned) of the General Administrative Regulations, as well as in the provisions of the Laws, Decrees and Ministerial Decisions in force at the time.

Sets the term of office of the Deputy Mayor until 9-1-2026

The above Deputy Mayor will receive a compensation.

During his term of office, the above-mentioned Deputy Mayor may not be elected or be a member of the Presidency of the City Council.

The recall of a Deputy Mayor is possible at any time, by a specially reasoned decision of the Mayor, for reasons related to the performance of his/her duties.

The Deputy Mayor shall sign documents and acts related to the exercise of the powers delegated to him/her by this Decision, except for notices, assignments and contracts
