Responsibilities

a) the Department of Cleaning and Recycling as detailed in Article 16 of the General Terms and Conditions of Employment, as well as in the applicable provisions of Laws, Decrees and Ministerial Decisions and

b) the Civil Protection Office of the Department of Environment and Civil Protection of the Environment and Quality of Life Division, as detailed in article 15 par. 1, subparagraph 2 of Article 15(1) of the the General Terms and Conditions of Employment and the provisions of the Laws, Decrees and Ministerial Decisions in force at the time

Sets the term of office of the Deputy Mayor until 9-1-2026

The above Deputy Mayor will not receive any remuneration.

During his term of office, the above-mentioned Deputy Mayor may not be elected or be a member of the Presidency of the City Council.

The recall of a Deputy Mayor is possible at any time, with a specially reasoned decision of the Mayor, for reasons related to the exercise of his duties.

The Deputy Mayor shall sign documents and acts relating to the exercise of the powers conferred on him/her by this Decision, with the exception of notices, assignments and contracts.

The above Deputy Mayor will also sign the direct award contracts concluded for the needs of the Department of Vehicles, which are fully financed from internal resources and are regulated by the Decision of the Ministry of the Presidency of the Government No. 3373/390/20-3-1975 on ‘the determination of the procedure for the repair, maintenance, purchase of spare parts, and supply of fuel and lubricants, etc. for the motor vehicles of the Municipality of Corinth, as referred to in Article 1 of Law 2396/53 (Government Gazette 349 B’), which was amended by Ministerial Decree No. 4993/745/24-4-1975 (Government Gazette 489 B’)”
