Community Centre

The Community Centre is the first point of contact between citizens and the social services of each municipality.

From there, citizens are informed about all the benefits they are entitled to, all the institutions, services, and programmes that provide social care in any form, at the level of the Municipality, the Region, or the territory. The Community Centre of the Municipality of Korinthia is a social structure designed by the Peloponnese Region and co-funded by the European Social Fund, within the framework of the Regional Operational Programme “Peloponnese 2021-2027”.

Who is it for?

The Community Centre of the Municipality is open to all citizens of the area who are facing a social problem themselves or within their family (unemployment, financial hardship, lack of housing, living difficulties due to disability or old age) and need assistance from the State.

The fixed structure of the Community Centre is based in the Municipality of Korinthia, while the Mobile Unit serves residents of the Partner Municipalities of Loutraki-Perachora-Ag. Theodoron, Velo-Vocha, Xylokastro-Eurostin, and Nemea. It pays special attention to our fellow citizens who face a social problem themselves or within their family (unemployment, financial hardship, homelessness, lack of housing, living difficulties due to disability or old age, social exclusion, etc.) and need assistance from the State.
